Molly’s is nestled in the tiny (pop. 76) former milltown of Clio- back door to the lost Sierra, and named for a pot belly stove. Walk out the back door and take approximately 99 steps to the wild and scenic Feather River to fish or just enjoy the peace and tranquility. Or snuggle into a comfortable chair by the fireplace to read a book or play games.
The late 1800 building has housed a store and many families since. The restored building contains 4 comfortable and cozy bedrooms all with private baths. (All have views of the mountains and forest.)

The Pullman House Inn was built in 1910 by Mattie Conner as a boarding house. Over the years it has served as a hotel, private home, elder care facility, and in 1988 was converted to a Bed & Breakfast. Rumor has it in Portola’s heyday, downtown Portola had thirteen saloons and this may have been a house of ill repute!!
Nestled in the Sierra Nevada Mountains above Tahoe. 5-10 mintues from Grizzly Ranch, Gold Mountain,
& Graeagle. We are located in downtown Portola. You can walk to the railroad museum, restaurants, shops, churches, business district, city hall schools, hospital, city park, bowling alley, local events, and the Feather River.

In a “yet to be discovered” area, the Bidwell House is located on the southeastern slope of Mt. Lassen. Chester and its surrounding area are rich in the history of gold-mining, ranching and logging. The Inn provides a great resting spot between the great valley of California and points east. The Inn is perfect for hideaway seekers, honeymooners, business travelers, weddings, reunions and corporate retreats.

You are invited to step back to a gracious and simpler time, a time of romance and quiet beauty. Originally known as the Huskinson House, built in 1893 by Edward Huskinson for his family, the Inn today reflects the sartorial splendor of Queen Anne styling, with a wide restful Greco-Roman porch. One can almost picture the Huskinsons’ and their children Barrett and Gladys-Reid sitting for tea while enjoying the fresh mountain air.
